Carl Gustaf Lundin joins Leidar
I am delighted to announce that Carl Gustaf Lundin has joined Leidar on a full-time basis as Senior Vice President.
Working with Leidar will enable Carl to continue his engagement with many companies, foundations and organisations, while also supporting our existing and future clients with sustainability action and communication.
Carl Gustaf will specialize in ocean investment strategies for philanthropic organizations as well as equity funds. He will be an advisor to Leidar’s clients on ESG reporting and strategies, as well as marine and sustainability related impact and communication strategies.
He will also be advising on current conservation challenges like climate change, biodiversity conservation and extractive industries.
Carl Gustaf recently stepped down as CEO for Mission Blue and he remains a Ocean Counselor to the organization. He served as Director for the IUCN Global Marine and Polar Programme for 20 years. He also helped develop several investment instruments like the Blue Action Fund and served on the board and advisory board of many philanthropic organizations.
Previous to IUCN, working for the World Bank for more than 13 years, Carl Gustaf focused on investments in coastal and marine management in many countries, including Argentina, China, Eritrea, Indonesia, Mexico, Mozambique, Seychelles and Uruguay.
Carl Gustaf is a respected scientist and global thought leader on marine matters. Through his extensive global experience Carl Gustaf can help clients develop investment strategies for ocean conservation.
