Leidar appoints new head of its Brussels office

Leidar has today announced the appointment of Mariano Guillen as the new Head of its Brussels operations.

Leidar, a global communication consultancy, has offices in the key centres across the world, including Geneva, London, Brussels, New York, Washington DC, Dubai and Singapore. Mariano will lead the firm’s work in Brussels, focusing on strengthening Leidar’s capabilities and services in government affairs and communications.

Mariano brings over eight years of experience in public policy and EU public affairs. During his time in Brussels, he has lead numerous projects and multidisciplinary teams in the design and implementation of public affairs strategies and advocacy campaigns, delivering results for top global and European organisations, trade associations and non-profits.

Mariano Guillen

Mariano has built strong expertise in the energy and technology sectors allowing him to engage and partner with policymakers from EU institutions and colleagues from industry and civil society in Brussels and EU capitals. Mariano has a background in law, business management and international trade. He worked in the US and Spain before moving to focus EU affairs in Brussels, where he’s worked on landmark legislation such as the Clean Energy Package, the Digital Services Act and the AI Act.
