Leidar joins Expo 2020 Dubai supplier network
The event, which is expected to contribute more than $33 billion to the country’s economy by 2031, will take place between 20 October 2020 and 10 April 2021.
Recently His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai unveiled Latifa and Rashid, the two children who will be the official mascots of Expo 2020.
Norwegian company Empower, who are finding solutions to the plastic waste problem by giving plastic a value, were among 25 projects selected from 1,175 submissions by Expo 2020’s Global Best Practice Programme. The 25 were selected during Expo 2020’s search for pioneering projects that address the sustainable development goals (SDGs), 17 key targets that form a global plan of action for the peace and prosperity of people and the planet.

With 200 countries participating and over 25,000 media expected to attend Expo 2020, participating companies will need to have a comprehensive communications plan in place to ensure that they make the most of their attendance and visibility at the event.
