Global Marine Expert Carl Gustaf Lundin to Join IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi

Leidar Senior Vice President and global marine expert Carl Gustaf Lundin will be in Abu Dhabi this October for the IUCN World Conservation Congress (9–15 October), the world’s largest gathering of leaders shaping the future of conservation and sustainable development. Lundin will moderate the Blue Nature session and join expert panels on Blue Science and Coral Reef Assessment, bringing his insight to urgent challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and the impact of extractive industries.

A respected scientist and thought leader, Lundin has advised philanthropic organizations, equity funds, and global institutions on ocean investment strategies. He has been instrumental in creating innovative conservation financing mechanisms such as the Blue Action Fund and serves on multiple boards and advisory groups worldwide.
