Phil Armstrong has more than three decades of experience as a consultant in public affairs and reputation management.
He is a respected strategist on legislative and regulatory policy communications and grassroots advocacy and has managed campaigns across the US and internationally for companies, industry groups, coalitions, and NGOs.
Mr. Armstrong is a seasoned corporate counsellor on crisis readiness and response to reputational challenges including labor disputes, civil and criminal litigation, environmental incidents, and product recalls. His experience spans multiple industries including health care, automotive, pharmaceuticals, financial services, technology and telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, and energy.
Previously Mr. Armstrong held leadership positions with several global communications and advertising agencies including Zeno Group, Hill & Knowlton Strategies, Havas and LEVICK. He started his career in politics and was a federal political appointee as a speechwriter and press secretary.
Mr. Armstrong has won several industry awards including the Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America and the North American SABRE Award. He has a BS in Journalism and Economics from the University of Iowa.
