
Peter de Graaf
Senior Advisor, ESG and Sustainability, based in London
Peter works across the Leidar offices in Brussels and London. He has been involved in corporate responsibility and sustainability throughout a career that includes regulatory affairs, consultancy and finance.
Furthermore, Peter has a deep understanding of the current EU environmental agenda and has advised companies, investors and NGOs on how they talk to their audiences about material sustainability issues.
A specific interest in responsible finance and ESG investing characterises Peter’s work. He was a Managing Director with FTSE Russell, which launched the corporate responsibility index FTSE4Good during his time with the organisation. He was also MD of environmental research firm Trucost S&P, and served as the first Chief Operating Officer of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment. Peter has worked as a senior advisor on sustainability advocacy for leading communications consultancies including Edelman and Porter Novelli, across Brussels, London and The Hague.
Peter holds master’s degrees in political science and EU policy from the University of Amsterdam and the London School of Economics.
