Peter de Graaf
Senior Advisor, ESG and Sustainability, based in London
Peter heads up the sustainability reporting work for Leidar and works across the offices in Geneva, Brussels and London. He has been involved in sustainability throughout a career that includes regulatory affairs, management consultancy and finance.
He has a deep understanding of the new sustainability reporting legislation and has advised companies and investors on how they talk effectively to audiences about their material sustainability issues.
He was a Managing Director with FTSE Russell, which launched the sustainability investment index FTSE4Good, was an MD of environmental research firm S&P Global Trucost and served as the first COO of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment.
Peter has worked as a senior advisor on sustainability advocacy for leading communications consultancies such as Edelman and Porter Novelli across Europe. He holds master’s degrees in politics and economics from the University of Amsterdam and the London School of Economics.
