Ernest DelBuono

Ernest DelBuono has more than three decades of experience as a crisis management/crisis communications professional. His operational experience allows him to bridge the gap from the C Suite to the factory floor.
His high-profile crisis engagements involved drilling incidents, airline disasters, SUV rollovers, product recalls, natural disasters, eco-terrorism, cruise ship safety, executive misconduct, environmental incidents, and earnings restatements.
Mr. DelBuono has significant international experience setting up global crisis management programs for multinational corporations in the biotech, paper products, hospitality, and manufacturing industries.
Previously he held leadership positions with a several global consultancies including Rowan & Blewitt, Control Risks Group and LEVICK.
A retired Coast Guard commander, Mr. DelBuono served as press assistant to the Commandant of the Coast Guard.
Currently, he is a member of ASIS International, serving on the Crisis Management & Business Continuity Community leadership team.
DelBuono has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Villanova University and a Master of Science in Public Relations from Boston University.
